The Phallocare Experience

Pre-operative

Phallocare provides penis enlargement surgery, and service. There are several components that articulate the Phallocare experience:

Consultation: Phallocare's qualified consultants are ready to answer questions you may have about all Phallocare services. Penis augmentation surgery is a big step and men often have a lot of questions. Phallocare's consultants are prepared with personal surgical experience, giving our clients the unique ability to learn about all aspects of the surgical process and explore their choices of cosmetic penis enlargement procedures.

Scheduling & Planning Phase: Requires a non-refundable deposit that is applied toward the final expense of your surgery. All scheduling must be considered at least 2 weeks in advance of a client's planned surgical procedure. During the scheduling phase, an exact surgical date and service itinerary will be provided. This sets in motion Phallocare's direct client services. Phallocare will provide and assist you with all pre-operative requirements and help you plan every aspect of your customized surgical experience.

Pre-operative & Diagnostic Requirements: Pre-operative blood screening must be completed two weeks previous to a scheduled surgery. Clients conveniently complete this pre-screening within their region. Phallocare will provide any diagnostic lab of your choice the information required to complete this step.

Clients over 50 years of age must complete a EKG screening two weeks previous to a scheduled surgery.

Phallocare will interview each client's health history and current health status.

Phallocare discretely requires images of your penis be transmitted via email to be reviewed by Dr. Mark Knight. Phallocare requires a flaccid frontal, flaccid stretch and an erect image. If you can not transmit pictures via email, other arrangements will be provided to fulfill this requirement.

Pre-operative Instructions:

Bathing for one week prior to surgery patient needs to shower using soap daily. The patient has gently scrub abdomen, penis, scrotum, thighs and buttocks for at least 10 minutes and thoroughly rinse the entire area after washing. This is to help avoid infection during the operative procedure. Patient’s last shower should be on the morning of the surgery with special attention to the genital and perianal area.

MEDICATIONS: Take Vitamins A, B C, and E 1 week before surgery, and plan to continue for about 1 month after surgery. Avoid aspirin or aspirin products for 14 days, including Anacin, Ascriptin, etc. Some forms of Excedrin and many forms of Alka Seltzer contain aspirin. Similarly, avoid "blood thinners", but get permission first from the doctor who prescribed it and have him personally speak with your cosmetic surgeon. All these agents promote bruising or bleeding (see Drugs to Avoid Pre and Post Operatively .)

On the morning of surgery, do take all the medications you normally do with the exception of diabetic medication. Please have your doctor who is treating your diabetes personally speak with your cosmetic surgeon. You may take your morning medications with a small sip of water. Please bring your medications with you.

Food: Surgical patients are instructed not to eat or drink anything after midnight.

Hygiene: Surgical patients are required to shave all pubic hair previous to surgery.

Smoking: Should be stopped for 2 month before surgery and not resumed until at least 2 months after surgery.

CLOTHING: Please remember to bring loose-fitting sweat pants and boxer shorts.

Clients will receive in-depth instructions via telephone within 72 hours of their surgical procedure from Phallocare's surgical staff. Clients typically arrive a day previous to their scheduled surgery. Phallocare provides shuttle accommodations from John Wayne airport and transports clients to their lodging.

Post-Operative

POST ANESTHESIA INSTRUCTIONS: Do not drive or operate heavy machinery or sign important documents 24 hours after surgery.

Do not drink alcoholic beverages for 24 hours following your procedure.

We recommend that your first meal after anesthesia be a light one (example: soup, crackers, jelly).

KEEP INCISION AND DRESSINGS DRY: You are not allowed to have a full shower for 10 days after surgery. You must keep the incision(s) dry to prevent infection and to aid in healing. After 10 days, prevent straight water fall on your penis by covering suture areas with plastic. Do not rub the suture area(s), but rather pat dry.

INFECTION: While infection is unlikely, you must watch carefully for signs of infection, i.e., redness, swelling, yellow/green drainage. If any of these occur, please let your cosmetic surgeon know within 24 hours. Do not use a hot tub or whirlpool bath during first 2 months after surgery or upon personal consultation with your cosmetic surgeon.

BLEEDING: While bleeding is unlikely, if bleeding occurs, apply direct pressure with gauze for15 minutes. Call you cosmetic surgeon if bleeding occurs after this.

SUTURES: There are NO sutures that need to be removed.

INCISIONS: If any part of an incision opens, please your cosmetic surgeon know within 24 hours, and if you are using a stretching device stop using it immediately.

CLOTHES/DRESSING: Use boxer shorts and sweat pants as long as you have discomfort or penile swelling. When dressing, do not bend or fold your penis. You may wish to place your penis up on the abdomen for the first 4 days after which we want you to allow the penis to hang down in boxer shorts for 4 to 6 weeks.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: Light activities may be resumed in about 3 to 7 days and strenuous activities in 4 to 6 weeks.

SEXUAL ACTIVITIES: No any type of sexual activities (including oral sex and masturbation) for 6-8 weeks. Erection control is mandatory for first 4-6 weeks to allow surgical incisions to heal. Every patient will be provided with necessary proscriptions.

ATHLETIC ACTIVITIES: Athletic and other strenuous activities such as running or extensive walking must be avoided for at least 6 weeks. No aerobics or contact sports are allowed for at least 6 weeks. You may engage in upper body exercise after 3-4 days.

SLEEP: You should sleep on your back as much as possible for 1 to 2 weeks.

SWELLING AND DISCOLORATION: You may expect some swelling and discoloration of the penile shaft, scrotum, lower abdomen for approximately 1 to 2 weeks. You may elevate the scrotum and penis on a towel placed between your legs to minimize swelling.

MEDICATIONS: Do not take aspirin, aspirin products, or Motrin for 2 weeks (See Drugs to Avoid List Pre and Post Operatively.) Continue to take all your routine medications.

PAIN MEDICATIONS: Many patients do not use pain medications. You should not need pain medication after 1 week.

Physiotherapy: Phallocare will provide post- surgical stretching instruction. Physiotherapy techniques are safe when used properly. However, potential risks include: contact dermatitis, bruising; vascular, erectile tissue and nerve injury, possibly causing or contributing to erectile dysfunction or loss of the penis. See detailed instructions from the manufacturer included with the stretching device. After a period of time, you may gradually increase the amount of weight and length of time, determined by your comfort level and the guideline given to you by Phallocare support. You should never use the weights if they cause discomfort, or change in penile sensation (feeling), color or temperature of the penis. If you have any concerns you should stop using the weights and inform Phallocare before starting again. For optimal results, you may wish to use the weights for about 6-9 months.

DRESSING CHANGE: You will receive a detail instruction for dressing change next day after surgery during your first post surgical evaluation. Cosmetic surgeon will teach you how to maintain your surgical field clean and dry.

FOLLOW-UP: Regular communication with your cosmetic surgeon should be maintained by using e-mails and digital photos attached to it. If you have any problems, please contact Phallocare at any time.
